Fisherman's Memorial State Campground RI
We're off for our final 2008 Camping adventure in RI. Plan is to come home "Winterized" and sad for the end of a "Wet" year as our camping adventures seemed to call for Rain.
So....unfurling the jib and drawing in the main sheet as we set sail for our coastal destination of choice...the Atlantic Coast cause its really close by...

Are you there yet!
is it as nice as I thought it was when we rode through it this year?
Don't forget to go on down to Newport. Great place to walk around.
Also drive out to Fort Adams State Park. Bring a picnic. Might even be a great place to take a break from walking around Newport.
When we were visiting Son there, we went down to the wharf and bought lobsters for $8 a piece. Fire up the Barbie and grill them - they are great!!
Anyone want a peek at Fisherman's Memorial State Park Put this address in for a search:
1011 Point Judith Road Narragansett, RI 02882
Drill on down and see how wide it is between sites.

Naw, not yet...likely not gonna get any posts from me while there, leaving this AM for 1 week. They have 3 way hookup's (Water, 30 amp, and Sewer) no extra's as its a State Campground but one of the nicest and why we keep coming back.

We enjoyed our short stay in that park and would stay there again! It's a beautiful area to just drive around, too (outside the park). And it's only 34 miles to Mystic Pizza (at Mystic, CT), the second best pizza we've had anywhere!

Noneck, I'm very sorry we may have missed an opportunity to meet you folks. Vicki noticed your Wappinger Falls weather bug. We were at the Dairy Queen in Wappinger Falls this past Monday. We were staying near Elizaville and had gone down to West Point and Sleepy Hollow / Sunnyside. Prior days we were in Hyde Park. We left Elizaville on Vicki's birthday, 10/22. I'm sorry we missed out on meeting you folks.
