New Truck coming soon!!

I went online this morning and was able to pull up the window sticker of my new F350 that I ordered in February! It's finally almost here, just in time for camping season. I've never ordered a new vehicle before, it's kinda fun to see your name on the sticker.

Assume you are replacing a diesel with a diesel. You will love that 6.7 diesel, and the six speed transmission is also great. There have been a few issues with the trans, but almost all are extremely happy, as am I. We have been trouble free since day one. Check out Dieselstop.forum for a great insight to 2011 and above 6.7 owners. We love ours, and we also had a 6.0 with no problems. 800lbs of torque! For any significant towing, 5W40 is recommended vice the 15-40 you likely run now. Will be delivered with 10W30 from the plant. Air and fuel filter kit changes much much easier.

Enjoy your new truck. Make sure that you get some break in miles before towing. The owners manual is your best friend.

We have always taken what ever was on the lot until we decided to order what WE wanted versus the dealer.

Trying to choose between all the options available is as bad as ordering your first Montana...inside options, outside options, drive train options, wheels, seat covers, seat types, and on and on and on....

But getting your own personalized vehicle is worth every minute/hour you spend.

Congrats! Be sure to post pictures and let us know all the options you chose.

It is kinda fun to order a net truck, you get exactly what YOU wont not what the sales mangier thinks he can sell.

hikerdoc,

Can I get the website you used to pull up that window sticker? I have a site I used, but it doesn't have the buyer's name and it is hard to read the document.

Thanks!

I used this URL to pull up my window sticker, produces it in an easy to read .pdf file that you can magnify to see specifics.

http://researchmaniacs.com/VIN-Numbe...cker/Ford.html

just plug in your VIN in the appropriate line, worked great for me. The window sticker won't show up until approx. 1 week or so before your build date. The buyer name on my sticker was at the end of the list of options. Good luck!

Thanks Bill. Got it to pull mine up, but it doesn't show my name. Everything looks right on it though...
