Brake Controller

I've done a search here and found out many of you have switched to the Prodigy Controller and are happy with the unit. My question is why the Jordan Ultima 2020 (for about the same price) was not your choice. Does this tell me that the Prodigy is just better, or easier to hook up and use????

I believe that one of the reasons the Prodigy is so popular is the ease of installation. The average person can take a Prodigy controller and vehicle specific harness and set your controller up within a short period of time. I have no personal experience with Jordan but from what I've read it is a very good controller with good support from the manufacturer. I believe that installation is more involved with the Jordan.
I believe Jordan and Prodigy are both made in the USA.

RonS, our current truck has a builtin controller but in our prior two trucks we had the Prodigy and loved it so I think I can reply to your question. In my opinion the Prodigy and Jordan are both excellent controllers. I went with the Prodigy because of ease of hooking it up. My trucks had the plug already sitting there behind the dash so it was simple to connect it up.
