Looks like the 3850 is a go-Official Announcement

2014 3850FL Big Sky! Looks like the official determination has been made to proceed with the order and that the new rig's interior decor will be Limestone. Found some pics online last night of a 3850FL that had the Limestone interior decor and was totally impressed (that means DW liked it!). Still debating about the sliding door swap and think we are going to leave it for now and if we decide to pursue a different door, will do that in the future. Signed order papers will be sent tomorrow, so I guess this makes it official now that we should have our third Montana ready for our Thanksgiving trip to Charleston, SC. The third time must be a charm since this has been the most pleasant buying experience that we have had out of our previous RV's. Larry (Hook) went overboard meeting our requests, Camping World went overboard, and as always Mark Krol was great in ironing out the production details and answering persistent questions throughout the process. We are excited, eager, and feel totally blessed being able to hopefully take delivery on what we feel is our dream retirement rig. We appreciate the helpful advice and comments we have received from many on the forum, the bestest forum on the www!!!

Outstanding. Retirement rig, yeah right. That's what we said 3 RVs ago. Good luck.

I hope you enjoy many trouble free years on your new rig. I'm happy you're getting what you want. Hope all goes smooth as silk and the new unit lives up to all your expectations.

You sound pretty excited. Hope everything goes smooth for you and exceeds your expectations.
I'm going to the Hershey Show where, I'm sure, there will be that model on display. It seems to be pretty popular as was the 3750FL.

I have to temper the excitement Keith, four to six weeks is an eternity to wait! The 3850 is not as open in the front living area as the 3750, but the separate contained bath was a factor for us. The other factor (the important one), is that DW never did like the white exteriors of our other ones. The fact that it comes with other goodies like the level-up, outside entertainment center, larger televisions, stainless steel kitchen sinks, etc. made it easier to convince the boss that it was suitable for us.
