Steep Parking
There were some recent topics asking about bed clearances and the like. I found some pictures that shows us parking in a rather difficult site last fall. The pictures are grouped on this page. If you wish to get a better view just click on an individual picture.

As an aside, it rained most of the three weeks we were parked there so I was thankful Bubba has four wheel drive. We never slipped a wheel coming back out in FWD low.
I really wouldn't like to try anything more difficult but the pictures show what is possible with a rather normal hookup.

Great Truck driving there Dave. And I can tell you that Cambridge is a very Heavy unit. Good sales promo for the 4 x 4. When you get in those different angles, you must have a 4 x 4 even with a locking differential it would be very difficult. Also the Cambridge is hung very low due to all the storage space and head space in the bed room area. Good Job Dave.... GBY....

Thanks for the pictures. I've been in a few of those spots and it is not fun when the back of your new unit is dragging in the gravel.

cmp-shooter,
Why else, it was free....
Seriously, it wasn't all that bad and it's on my brother in law's lot at Lake Cumberland. We have now bought a lot just to the south. I graded in a level, circular drive so we will never have to do this again.

Great photos Dave & thanks for sharing but I also would not attempt that. With my luck I would have damaged something for sure, can't imagine the ladder taking too much more than what you put it through.

Hitch was installed by the dealer as part of purchase deal. We only use it for a bike rack

DAVE. guess you have a stronger stomach than me, I figure if I dent or scratch my rig, p/u or montana I'd never be satisfied with the repairs
Does look like a nice spot though.
