Sirius XM radio in Canada & Alaska

we are leaving for Alaska in about 2 weeks. Just wondering if Sirius XM radio will work in Canada and Alaska?

It should they use the satellites we use.

I have used it up north. The main problem is the angle in the sky is so low, small hills can block the signal.

It will work through the Canada portion of the trip. I lost it around Fairbanks but got it back as we traveled south towards Anchorage.
