Landing gear zirks

Hi, I have a 2017 310 HC Ground control 3.0

I lowered the front all the way down 4th hole on the inner leg to wax my front cap, rear landing gear was up
After waxing cap I brought the front back up and tried to self level but had an error. I extended all and retracted but could not clear the error.
Right front passenger side is making an unusual whining sound possible motor replacement or bent landing gear.
I cannot find any zirks on the landing gears like some here comment on.

Do some legs not have zirks? Or maybe factory forgot to install ?
Thank you for any comments

Ground control doesn't have zerks. What was the error? I'd suggest hooking the rig to the truck and retract all. Then extend all about 7" to 8" That should re-sync the system. Unhook and re-level. As far as the noise, it's possible you have a bad motor. Lippert has an app for your phone that has a lot of info including support.

We had Ground Control on our first fifth wheel. The "expert" who showed us how to hitch/unhitch taught us that step 1 is to pull the pins and let the feet drop to the ground. We encountered the same error you had a few times. Tony's advice is a great example of what makes this forum a useful source of information. I finally got out of the habit of just dropping the feet and instead used the motor to extend that minimum distance first and never had the issue again.

I also use the round Anderson supports. It gives another 8" of height so the legs don't have to extend so far.

Yes good idea, I see many people use them,I had left over header beams that I attached a handle to then stained with polyurethane. I get a lot of curiosity seekers.
