Is there a particular brand and/or source for the AGM batteries you prefer?
Ours are Lifeline D8 batteries. Go to http://www.lifelinebatteries.com/
You can get a good view of all their AGM batteries.
One of the problems, if you're worried about pin weight, is that the D8 battery weighs about 150 lbs (and we have two of them!). They're expensive.
