Asheville, NC to Gatlinburg, TN

Has anyone travelled from Asheville, NC, to Gatlinburg, TN, via I-40 to 339 (Foothills Parkway) then 321? Mainly curious about 339.

We live in the area and use Foothills Pkwy quite a bit. I would NOT take my Monty there nor would I want to meet yours. This is a steep and very curvy road. Go the few extra miles into Newport to get to 321.

X2. Drove it once in my suv. Pretty scenery but I wouldn’t even take my dually thru there WITHOUT the Monty.

I was born & raised in Brevard, North Carolina and NO ONE travels that road in the Winter and I would NEVER try to drive my truck on that road this time of year let alone pull a 5th Wheel.

Here you go......https://www.tn.gov/tdot/driver-how-d...formation.html
