have a question pertaining to montana
having been in my montana for several months now and not purchasing new, i am wondering if there is a way to get a hold of keystone and find out exactly what options were installed from the factory on my rig. i can pretty much tell what was installed by dealer and such, but not so much the other. also was wondering how to tell the difference in the hi gloss sidewalls and standard. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks

pep,
If you can see the filon in your fiberglass than you have the standard. If your sidewalls are glossy and smooth (they will match the front and rear caps) then you have the high gloss. As far as options, there is only a few things the dealership can add after the coach has been on the lot. Slide awnings, washer/dryer, 2nd a/c, to name a few. The rest come from Keystone, but you might call customer service (have your vin number handy) and see if they can answer your options question better.

Check with your dealer. He has a Retail base price listing for all models of Montanas and all of the options that are available for them along with the prices. Our dealer gave me one when we ordered our second Montana in 2005.

Contact Keystone Customer Service - give them the VIN # of the Montana, and they can furnish you a copy of the spec list for your particular unit. We did this when we bought our previously enjoyed Montana. Tried to do it over the phone, but the gal we talked with sent us an owners manual, which we already had. We were in Indiana last year and went to Keystone Customer Service and talked with one of the reps. He got us what we wanted and also checked the records to be sure the frame recall problem had been taken care of.

Also might want to check the current Montana "Options" web page ( http://www.keystone-montana.com/?page=options) and their current list of options. Some of those may still be able to be installed in your unit, even though they were not available when your unit was manufactured.
Also, there may now be some "Standard" features that used to be options, so you may want to peruse this list, too:

The customer service phone number is (574) 535-2100 or (866) 425-4369 (Toll Free). Ask for customer service.
As Virgil said, give them the VIN. You may know it's on the sticker on the outside of the rig. It may be on a sticker inside a cabinet door, too.
Hopefully they can tell you the options or send you a list. Good luck. Let us know if they were able to help you.
