Snap Shots
( Sorry! I Incorrectly named the thread Rawlings, WY. This was supposed to be its name. I discovered it too late to delete it. Maybe the mods can transfer the information to this thread.)
Uinta NF, UT
When entering this National Forest at Provo, UT, we took the road that takes the visitors all the way through the forest. It's spectacular viewing when the leaves are changing. The picture was taken during a ski lift ride to the top and back down. Not recommended for those that have a problem with high places.

San Simeon, CA
This is a picture of a very small church on the Hearst properties at San Simeon, CA. The buildings atop the hill in the background are part of the Hearst Castle complex.

Seals
Traveling south of San Simeone, CA on costal highway #1, we found these seals basking in the sun at a small beach area.

When the crappie school-up and enter these deep water canals, so do those that like to catch and eat them. These waters normally produce above average sized crappie.

Memphis, TN
While at a stop at the Hollywood Resort & Casino RV Park at Tunica, MS we took an all day van tour to Memphis. We had lunch at a rustic 1960s restaurant on Beale St. The tour took us to the famous places in the music district. When leaving there we passed-by the Lorraine Motel where Martin Luther King was murdered.

La Jolla, CA
One year while full timing, we attempted staying at San Diego for a few of the winter months. Right after Christmas it started raining. It lasted for days and was causing mud slides in some of the valleys. We were parked in one of them so we packed-up and went east over the mountains to El Centro, CA.
While Christmas shopping in the quaint little village of La Jolla, we saw this Christmas tree made from potted poinsettia plants.

The Mighty Mac is the longest suspension bridge between anchorages in the Western Hemisphere. Also fourth longest suspension bridge in the world.

This is the CA Imperial Sand Dunes Recreational Area. It’s a winter time dry camping Mecca for dune buggy riders.
These pictures were taken on I-8 just west of Yuma, AZ near Ogilby, CA.

Those are some cool pictures. I have been to most of those places. The seals are always next to San Simeon. We like to go there to get away. We usually get a room on the beach. One of the nicest places in Ca. Hearst Castle is amazing. If you go to that area you need to take the tour. We also went across the Mackinaw bridge. It was very cool. There was a lot to do in that area. We even found a waterfall and got lost. If you ever get ti that area you have to visit Mackinaw island. They got fudge there. You won't believe how much LOL.
Sorry for the highjack

Sedona, AZ
A visit to Sedona will make you a 'shutter bug". We have hundreds of pictures taken there, here's an example.
The Chapel of the Holy Cross is a Roman Catholic chapel built into the buttes of Sedona, Arizona. The chapel is under the Episcopal see of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Phoenix and its ministry is conducted by St. John Vianney Parish, Sedona.

Does Sedona remind you of the Cars movie?
I missed that church when we went there. We stayed in Williams and drove there. It was down a long hill. What a beautiful drive. Was thinking about moving there. Did you happen to ride in the pink jeeps? The took us out in the desert for a little cruise.

We never took the desert tours. However, we did explorer just about everywhere our truck would take us. We took a lot of pictures of rural areas; here's an example.

This is a glimpse of haphazard dry camping at Quartzsite. The picture was while heading north on US-95 on our way to the RV bonanza.
