Heating system explained

Newbie question about the heating system. Is it exclusively propane?
2010 Montana
I know it’s warm outside, I’m new to Campers and trying to learn as much as I can.
I plan on being a full timer within the next 6 months.
Thank you in advance

The heat source is exclusively from burning propane, but there is 12 volt power that operates the ignition and the fan to move the air.

Thanks, that’s what I figured. Just wasn’t positive.

Yes, propane only. The 12v also operates the thermostat. So while the furnace heats only with propane, it requires 12v to run. If you lose power to your 12v system, there’s no heat, no AC, no fridge (which also requires 12v to operate the controls), etc.

Some models like mine have the Coleman Heat Pump but you do have to be plugged into shore power.
