No, we're doing our gig at the Imperial National Wildlife Refuge (about 40 miles north of Yuma) on the Colorado river. It's a tough gig, I have to drive trucks or four wheelers out thru the desert or along the river. We do have to clean bathrooms, but the quiet and the wildlife is amazing. We'll be back in early May and try and get with you guys then.

Cool! Enjoy it there for us. Sounds like a great time there.
I am currently fixing all the broke stuff in our Montana: Transfer switch, surge guard, surveillance TV, half-time-oven, (going to swap boards from the pone you brought to out broke one) and may make a few upgrades before next winter.
We will go out to eat somewhere when you come back.

Looks like some good gumbo OZZ! The DW made just that same thing but used some left over turkey instead of chicken and some garlic sausage instead of the southern sausage but it still was great on a cool night. Sounds like you're sticking around for the winter this year. So are we at least till February anyway since I'm having one of the knees replaced come the 19th. Take care and keep those recipes coming!

Thanks Rondo, you are a good guy, wish we were closer neighbors. Have a great winter.
Good luck on the knee, do what the wise old Dr. says.

Hey Ozz, you know how sometimes you (or at least I) have to grill chicken so that the thick end is done while the thin end gets overcooked and is dry as a cork? To fix this my DW puts a piece of chicken in a zip-lock bag then smashes the heck out of it with a metal mallet until the entire piece is about the same thickness. That way the entire piece of chicken cooks at the same "done-ness". One caution is that it doesn't take as long to cook (or grill) so it's easy to overcook the whole thing. Your dish looks delish
