Fading Paint on Front Cone

Hi All, I have a 2013 High County and the paint has faded badly on the top of the front cone. We met another camper who told us that Montana has a recall on this for bad paint. We called Keystone and they said there was no recall. Has anyone else had this problem and was Keystone helpful fixing it? Thanks.

I have the same camper with the same problem in 6 months, after waxing many times as recommended it came back in a few weeks after each wax job, went to dealer and complained. They called Keystone and they said paint it at their expense. It looks good now, we'll see. There is no recall for this.

The front and rear caps are Gel Coat, not paint, same as a fiberglass boat, rain and sun are hard on the finish, lots of wax helps a lot, covered storage also does wonders
On some models, (Big Sky, High Country, etc.) the front caps are painted. The early editions of High Country with painted caps have had several reports paint fading at the top of the cap. The only remedy is to re-paint from what I understand.

Yes , mind is fading as well, was told to keep puting 303 aviator oil on it, always put a storage cover on my other trailer, but now am afraid of falling off of my Monty and that will be the end of me.

kyestone said take close pictures with vend # and they will review my case of cracked and faded decals , hope they send me all new ones from a differant company, they said that they did not like an ugly product going down the highway. 2009 montana 3400rl , paid a lot of money for something, see if keystone/dutchman come thru.

Unless things have changed since the last fall rally all the Keystone products and well as other brands are painted at the same shop just down the road from the factory "Maple City paint and collision" we stop there every rally for touch up paint for our big sky. the paint on our Big sky has shown no signs of fading. It does chip easily but I will bet that is a problem that only we have. we did spend @ 900.00 to have the entire front under hang Lin x'ed to prevent the chipping only we were experiencing. You might want to check to see who painted these rigs that are fading and give then a call. There should be a tag indicating the paint shop and paint colors.
