Elvis is in the RV

Hi, we are Jim "Elvis" and Tammy. We just bought our 2018 3700LK Montana while on vacation in ND (we really did plan to buy a RV, it wasn't a total impulse purchase). We bought from Capital RV where my father bought every camper we had while I was growing up, my brothers and sister now buy from here so it really is a family tradition to shop here.

We are planning to retire in early 2022 and start our new rv lives! We are excited to join this group and learn.

We plan to travel this beautiful country to see family/friends, national/state parks, and fun events/places. We have two children and a large extended family to visit. Our daughter's husband is in the Air Force so we will be visiting them in different places. Our son lives in VA which is also where our base home is. We will be visiting OH, ND, and FL regularly to keep our family ties tight. Somewhere along these routes we will work in the sites of interest and fishing.

We travel with two large dogs so we are continuously cleaning up dog hair. They are very important to our lifestyle. They are sources of joy, love, and motivation. They make us spend less time at places where we shouldn't stay to long (shopping centers, casino's, bars, you know all the fun places) and make us get out and exercise.

Those are the important highlights. We look forward to meeting like minded people, reading great travel stories, and learning.

As long as you just have to clean up dog 'hair' and nothing else! LOL

Welcome to the forum! With three, what our vet calls large, cats our life full timing revolves around removing cat hair so we can sympathize. Hope your new rig brings you many years of wonderful memories.

Welcome to the forums and congrats on your new Montana.

Agree, dogs enhance our lives and we are their whole world. They love us unconditionally and trust us for everything in their lives. Our little guys still make accidents on the floor, still bark when other dogs walk by, still go insane over their play toys, and still cuddle with us in bed at night. But, we wouldn't have it any other way. Ours don't shed (much), but it is amazing how much dog hair get's swept up. We also have a cat, and he sheds something awful.
