EZ Pass

For those that use EZ pass across the country Take note that Ohio will come on line with EZ pass October 1,2009. For those in Ohio that may want to get the EZ pass log onto the Ohio Turnpike commission and click on EZpass.

Thanks for the info. Here in the northeast (NJ) we would not be without EZ Pass.

"...and get out your credit card!"Well yea. Every State is a bit different. In Ohio you must buy a min of 25.00. We bought 75.00 and have it on auto replenish when the balance reaches 10.00. We thought that was convenient instead of having to keep track and manually replenish. Ohio charges .75 per month for the transponder (9.00) with no up front fee. We travel many of the States that use EZ pass so it is a good thing for us. There is a significant savings using the EZ pass. The EZ pass is part of the expense of RVing.
