I need a new rocker switch....

I believe that the rocker switch on the panel for the scare lights has gone bad. Any ideas on where to buy a replacement? Would prefer to get an OEM type replacement so the panel maintains the original appearance.

Thanks!

Bill

Do you have a picture of the switch? It is hard to guess which one you have.

I had to replace one of my switches a few years ago, and was able to get a couple from Trekwood. Even though the description says water heater and water pump, it's the same switch for the lighting. Hope this switch works, not sure a rig as new as your profile indicates would even have switches, 2914??

I bought an exact replacement for one of mine on Amazon. If I tell you one was replaced, you won't be able to tell me which one it was.

I purchased extras so I could re-route some switches. I got them from my local RV dealership parts and supply store. They had to order them for me and it took about a week, but they are the same identical as the original. I might have paid 50 cents more for them, but not having to hassle getting the wrong thing was worth the extra 50 cents. Got them installed, re-routed the oriignal wires. Left the old ones in place so there would not be unsightly gapping holes and no one is the wiser.

Actually quite easy.

If you are using a smart phone, take a picture of the switch. Then, below the reply box, click on go advanced. Then scroll down to Manage Attachments and click on it. A dialog box will say Choose File. Click on Choose File, find that picture on your phone, and click on it. You can upload up to 4 pictures. Then click on Upload files. Once they finish uploading you can click on Submit Reply and the pictures will be posted.

Sound like a lot of steps. But once you do it a couple of times it is easy. You can also do it on a computer if you have stored the picture there.

You might also look to see if there is a name and part number stamped on the back of the switch and then google it.

LRBill - when you get a chance - add the year (2021 or whatever) to your signature.

Top left of this screen click User CP…then on the left side pick Edit Signature.
Showing the year along with your model will draw better answers!

Curious if you put a meter on the switch? A 2021 is young for that kind of wear.

I had to replace the rocker switch for my hydraulic slides recently. Found one on Amazon, but shipping from China was about a month. My local camping world had one for less than $10.00. I'd try there first if you have a CW nearby.

They are actually 3 separate switches. If you pull off the cover, you should be able to see them. They typically have little tabs that slip into the rectangular hole to hold them in place. Here's a 5 pack on Amazon for $10.
