Dometic toilets

What is the difference between the 320 & 310 Dometic toilets, other than the size? I have a 17' 3790RD & it looks like the 320 might be a tight fit. Anyone replace the toilet in that model?

We have a 320 with sprayer and fit is no problem. We prefer it over the 310 because it has an elongated bowl with a rim. The 310 has no rim. Our Montana is the 3791RD.

As far as door clearance they are the same. The 320 sticks out a bit further into the bathroom, but it is hardly noticeable

The other difference is the water outlets into the bowl. 320 pretty much directly vertical flow, 310 does a slightly sideways flow of water to rinse bowl. At least that is the way they were a couple of years ago.

Our 310 does have the flow going sideways, so the water is flowing in a counter-clockwise rotation. I wonder if they make a different 310 for sale in the southern hemisphere where the water drains in a clockwise rotation?
