I'm sorry to hear you are having problems. I have the same piece of junk fridge in my new 2024 3123 RL. First trip out when new last September, I had a horrible loud grinding noise in the compressor. Camping World of course said it was fine. Next trip out the first week in October, the fridge failed to cool and the lights in the fridge stopped working. One of the freezer drawers would still somewhat stay cold. It took camping world a month to get a replacement authorized and the third replacement (yes three replacements) they shipped was installed and is working as of last week. We were down for 4 months. There are some other threads on these fridges that seem to indicate the problem is a bad control board and an updated one will solve the problem. On mine, both the board and compressor were junk. If mine fails out of warranty, I may just go with a residential. Good luck.

If it fails out of Warrenty, check out JC Refrigeration out of Indiana. You can most likely replace your 12V cooling unit in your current fridge with one of theirs. I replaced my Dometic gas/electric with their unit three+ years ago. No issues, maintain 35-37 degrees in fridge, -19 to -10 degrees in freezer. Comes with 3 year warranty and can buy another 3 years. You can check this forum and find lots of happy customers. They use heavy duty parts to stand up to the vibration of an RV bouncing down the road. I would recommend this option over a residential fridge that is NOT built for RV abuse. Plus, no need to try to fit the fridge opening with a residential. You use the same fridge box just replace the cooling unit. Hope your third replacement works for you.

Hello and sorry to hear about your fridge issue. A couple of years ago we were in need of a mobile tech. as our stool was leaking down. While he was there I inquired about the new 12 volt fridge as we are thinking about upgrading our current camper. We are currently in our 5th camper with gas/electric and have never had a problem from any of our units. He stated since they have come out that he has been overwhelmed with service calls on them and didn't recommend buying a camper with one. Unfortunately the rv industry has forced our hand and we don't have a say as to what we would like to order or have installed evan as an upgrade option. And so the world turns. Good luck.

Furrion says it all. We have a Furrion stove/oven in our 2018 Monty and it has been repaired three times. Piece of junk. Fortunately we got a Sanyo residential Fridge in it. It is bigger and better than our home fridge.

Having 2 symptoms at the same time would point me to a possibility that the problem might be solvable without a replacement. 2 successive failures/replacements ups the odds there is an underlying cause. A third failure would absolutely lead me to look somewhere else besides replacement.
