12v Starlink Adapter?

We just got our new Starlink setup yesterday and I’m wondering if there’s an easy way to set it up to run off 12v instead of needing the inverter on?

And while we’re at it, I’m open to any suggestions for Starlink newbies. I think I’ve found an easy path for the cable through the big opening in the wet bay, and then I can mount the router in the pass-through. I’ll probably add a mount for the antenna to our ladder.

As far as I know, Starlink only makes 120VAC power supplies; you will need to use an inverter. If the output of the Starlink power supply is 12VDC (I've never checked), you might be able to make it work

Tons of Starlink info on the forum; search for it.

12 volt can only be around 20 feet long unless you custom build one with larger wire. I ran a wire behind the TV and fireplace out of the slide. A custom wire with a female connection to use the factory 50 foot 120 volt power adapter. Don't use a router. Everything is wifi.

If you have the Starlink Mini, there are several hacks to set up a 12vdc power supply for it. Take a look at YouTube.

I should have mentioned that I’ve got the Gen 3.

I’m seeing tons of 12v adapters for the Mini on Amazon, but haven’t found one for Gen 3 yet.

For the cord/router, we use the wet bay and sometimes the entry door. It might be lack of priority in some spots and/or that’s there’s more satellites now but checking with the speed test, it seems faster when the router is in the main area of the trailer.

I plan to run my cable like Foldback mentions or to the end tables beside the couch.
