"Well, quick service here from a local repair shop. Ninety-nine dollars later we're back in business: the brushes had rusted and fallen apart due to rain water getting inside where the wires enter the motor housing (hint: check!)
Also, for those who might find themselves in this situation and need to retract the jacks, the Lippert instructions state to remove one wire from the motor to keep it from binding. The only place to remove the wire is on the back of the manual switch at the rear, passenger side of the trailer. One must remove the switch to get at the spade terminals. Just and FYI."
