Question Question for those with Splendide Washers, who use liquid conditioner

Would be grateful if those of you who use the Splendide washer and add liquid conditioner into the pull out dispenser, does your washer actually consume the conditioner, so that at the end of the wash cycle the tray is empty and the conditioner has all been washed into the clothes in the drum?

Our washer (basically new) is not consuming the conditioner and I wanted to make sure that others with the same unit are not having this problem too. Other than that it works fine, just won't take the conditioner from the tray.

Thanks!
Chris

ours leaves water and conditioner in the dispenser. I took out the dispenser and cleaned it and it worked a little better.

Thanks - do you feel most of your conditioner is getting used and just a little water and conditioner is left behind?

Ours is generally empty at the end of the wash, every now and again there will be a little left, but gets rinsed out with next use.
We're Most Timers, soon to become Full Timers, so our machine gets used every couple of days.

Pretty sure ours uses all the conditioner. Our washer/dryer so far is the only thing that hasn't caused any problems. The last 3 weeks it washed 10 loads.

After cleaning it, it didn’t leave conditioner behind.

And we were surprised, that the manual was right how the clothes dry faster when you use conditioner in the wash.

Mine seems to use all of it.
There might be a little behind but not much

Ours used it all every time so far. The conditioner/fabric softener “lubes” the clothes so they don’t stick to the drum as easily, making them dry better. Always use the fabric softener.

Fabric conditioner info.

From what I remember spendide recommends using fabric conditioner only with a second rinse. That can be used for cycles 1, 2, 3, 6, 7, and the delicate cycles. It selects what compartment to dispense from depending on the cycle. You also can pull the tray out and clean any "gunk" that sticks to it.

Thanks everyone. The washer is new as of April this year when we picked up the rig. Apparently Splendide work with someone local who will come out and fix it. So I need to call them tomorrow and get that arranged. Your input has been super useful, I am convinced now we have a fault in the washer.

I’ve had mine for 18 months and yes the fabric softener does empty into the washer.

Splendid wash/dry

Hi everyone
While on this topic, it's important to run the cleaning cycle to clean out lint build up. Add cup of white vinegar and follow instructions for cleaning cycle: https://youtu.be/57fHCupmUdw

I have had one for 7 years and used it quite regularly when we was full timing for job. Never had problem with not emptying but do have to take tray out and clean the gunk out often.

We have had ours for 5 years full time use and you do need to clean the tray out now and then.

We are on our first trip with the Splendides. Love them so far. I have noticed that after every wash there is water in the bleach chamber. Deb has only used liquid detergent (chamber 2)…no bleach. Is this normal? I have been removing the bleach chamber and pouring the water out.

Also - I had the washer and dryer installed at a local service center. There is a small light purple plastic thing about the size of my thumb that was laying loose in the detergent chamber. I have no idea what it is or where it goes. Any ideas?

We are on our 3rd set of Splendide units. The current set is almost a year old. The DW said she was using softener/conditioner with the wash cycles but after I told her there was a little build up in the stinky-slinky she stopped. She said there was never stuff left in the compartment after the wash cycle though.
