No more floppy belly
I noticed that the forward section of the underbelly cover on our 3750fl sagged in the center. I have also noticed this same problem on many other fifth wheels in various campgrounds lately.
The front cover on ours measures 5'x5'. I cut two pieces of 1"X1"x1/8" angle iron and drilled a pilot hole in each end. I then sanded the pieces and coated them with spray on bed liner material. Once the angle iron was dry, I installed one piece on both sides 18" in from the outside edges of the frame using self drilling screws and fender washers. The outcome was great. The underbelly is now tucked up where it should be and looks 100% better. I also don't have to worry about the pieces rusting because of the coating I used.
You would think that the manufacturers would add this support when building the units.

I've heard of others using conduit and cutting to just fit inside the frame, flatening the ends and wedgeing them in place.

Sounds like a good plan.

Never experienced a floppy underbelly, but sounds like a good solution if it happens.

My unit has 2 pieces of C channel attached from one side of the frame to the other. That keeps my belly from sagging.
