Had a power problem and now no hot water or heater
My question is in my 2019 montana 5th wheel, jthe I command system reset to factory settings ,now I can see where to turn on my hotwater heater, is it necessary for the command system to have hot water with electric?
This new problem was appended to a 15 year old Thread. I created a new Thread for it as things have changed a bit since then.
My model 3921FB has an on-demand water heater, and the control for it is separate (upper right - see pic below) - not thru InCommand.
What model is your 2019 RV? That info would help you get better answers.

I don't have an In Command system so I can't help with it. But it is important to tell us what type of water heater you have as there is no two different types. You most likely have the tradition gas/electric type or you may have an on demand type that only uses propane.
Has the water heater ever worked?
What do you mean you by "jthe I command system reset to factory settings"
Is the black rocker switch outside the RV in the lower left corner of the water heater ON?
Hopefully an In Command user will be along to help with that system.

I had a power problem the other day , and had to replace the generator transfer switch, and now I have good shore power coming in , a/c , heater, both electric and gas are good , with everything working I don't have any hotwater , can't get either one to come on ( gas or electric ) all switches are on. But nothing
This is a 2019 montana 5th wheel
Your electric side depends on both 120 volts AC and 12 volts DC to function, the 12 volts to operate the relay attached to the water heater. On the gas side, you need gas and 12 volts DC. The only common thing between the two modes is the 12 volts, so that is what I would be checking. I would be checking for 12 volts starting at the battery, that it is getting power from the converter and it's getting to the 12 volt circuits in the distribution panel.

I checked power at the element and there is nothing, I don't see anything wrong with fuses or breakers , could there be something that I'd tripped that I'm missing,
Don't forget to cycle the reset switch and buttons on the outside of the heater.
There is a Suburban water heater training manual in the files section with parts and wiring diagrams.
You will need a multimeter to troubleshoot.

Did you check for 12 vdc at the inside switches? I seem to remember that there is an in-line 12 vdc fuse on the back of that switch panel. Someone can correct me if I am wrong.
I am assuming every thing else 12 volt works normally such as lights.

The WH always work until I had the generator transfer switch bypassed , I see the the furnace is working now but still no hot water and I don't want to use gas ,, I want to use electricity
I had a small short under my bed which cause all .y receptacles and ac stop working ,and now it's fixed ,I had a guy look at it had a guy bypassed the transfer switch since I have no generator, and now all is working ,, Except the hot water , the switches are on and I check for power at the element and there is no power , not sure if the gas side works either , not sure of the model but it's a 2019 montana 5th wheel. Can some one please tell what I can Check.
There were three separate Threads on this same topic. This is against the Community Rules as it makes it very difficult to answer the problem when replies are scattered.
Consequently, I have merged *ALL* the various Posts from the three Threads into the original Thread. It may be a little confusing to read but all the relevant replies are now in one location.
If the future, please only Post an issue/problem only once.

I guess my question is is the a fuse or anything I can trace back to see where the power stopped, I already know there is no power at the element
Yes,
There is a 5A inline fuse on the back of the control panel behind the water heater switch. This probably controls the relay mounted to the outside left side of the water heater. This relay allows 120vac to the element.
