5th wheel hitch
Greeting's again, in my long bed dodge i'm using an RBW hitch my base rails are mounted center to center 22x29,holes in close ,it's a 15k,the s.o.b. 5th weights 10,000 dry,my new 5ver weights 12,500 dry. I'm thinking I should go to a 16,000lb hitch, I've considered a Reese ,& a16,000lb to be on the safe side. I'm not sure of brand, but if I go with same style leg but wider stance I think holes should be about 4in.wider,&should be able to pin right in existing base rails, any suggestions, better safe than totally ignorant,in which I try to keep myself from being.thank's for any ideas. I've looked for a reese hitch, found a 20.000lb. slider, a valley 16,000lb,and a Curt 20,000lb has anyone heard of a Curt hitch,it sounds like a off brand of reese, dealer says its great but there idea is to sell a product.
