Hot Water Check Valve

We have a 2020 Montana 3121 and we are having a difficult time regulating the shower water temperatures. Very touchy setting the hot and cold water to a comfortable temp. My wife just gives up and I have to go in and play with the regulator until it's set to her liking. Wondering if the hot water check valve could be causing the problem with regulating the water temps. Can the valve it self be taking out and left out, we live in Arizona so winterizing is not something we have to do. Any ideas as to what might be causing the problem and how to correct the situation would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

We have the same issue on 2006 so it is nothing new. We finally over time have figured it out and can effortlessly find the sweet spot. I don't see where taking the check valve out will help resolve your issue. The only thing that might help is changing to a pressure-balance shower valve.
