MHC slide cable covers (seals)

Hey Everyone,
I have several of the black rubber strips that seal the slide cable at the slide seal that keep coming loose and ride out on the cable. I have tried to keep them in position with black rtv silicone but they pop off again.

What is everyone using to seal these tight to the slide seal and keep them in place?

I've tried silicon II also with no success. Also, tried black gorilla tape and probably because of the silicon, that doesn't very last long either.

I've tried silicone and gorilla glue with no success also, my rig has 1 cable slide, 3 hydraulic and 2 power gear driven slides (why Keystone?)

I had a Laredo travel trailer with cable slides before the Montana and I remembered a good thread about this subject on the Keystone Owners Forum, and I don’t know how to link to it on this iPad…so go there and search for this thread started in 2016…

BAL Accu-Slide (cable slide) Modification

I am not saying it is the best and final solution - but it is good food for thought.
