The Real Good Stuff!
Our 2011 3665RE with serial number ending with 00005 - no tank failures, no water leaks, still have original batteries installed, no blowouts, no propane leaks, no frame problems, wheels and axles still aligned, no slide problems, no appliance problems, no toilet or shower problems, no decal problems, no roof leaks, no broken furniture, no water heater problems, no furnace problems, no a/c problems, no window leaks,... best 5er we have ever owned...just never been back to a dealer...yea..couple of small items I fixed myself...like black tank flush check valve, door lock recall, light bulb...otherwise just rolling along when we can..about 15K miles..up and down the east coast, from Texas to PEI to Louisville to Florida...so we are VERY HAPPY with our Monty....and even our FORD has not broken down yet...but we ordered a new one anyway....

Our 6.4 has been perfect. Our two Ford trucks traveled 100K miles without a problem. @ 80K of that was with a Montana behind it. No comment on the Montana's.

Hi
2005 three years after Thor purchased Keystone.
Thor just purchased DRV Mobile Suites we will see how long before their quality is about the same a Keystone.
Thor's class A is fast approaching the low end category!

When it is good it is good. yes we had two holding tanks fail this winter but that is another story and it will be OK. We just hooked up for our early departure in the AM. Everything worked perfectly. We did the maint on the jacks and they came up smooth as silk. Light check 100 % good. We know the slides will work as we bumped them in and out today.
Other than the two failed tanks everything was perfect Not a single thing broke. We have a appointment with our dealer May 5th for tank repair and we will not have any further tank failures. Six months on site and we are pleased ....mostly.

I too LOVE my Monty! Yes, I've had some problems (leaky water connection, bad transfer switch, leaky galley tank etc), but as long as I have a good RV repair guy who's not afraid to share his thoughts over the phone, and all of you on MOC, I'm more than good. I also have a good Extended Service Plan (just in case). I don't consider these problems as poor QC. I consider them a normal part of RVing.

We love our 2012 3455SA., Hickory Edition. Very few problems, mostly regular maintenance tweaks. We did upgrade tires and wheels (thanks to MOC Forum ), at the time of purchase, so no issues there. Just anxious to get back in the road. After 2 back surgeries in 10 months, Pete is finally seeing daylight and feeling like we can get ready to hit the road again soon. Just finished roof cleaning and UV sealing. Replaced and upgraded the slide breaker to 80 amp, again thanks to MOC for that info. Also relaxed the storage and propane locks, and upgraded lighting to LED. If all goes well this summer, our next mission will be to sell the stick house and go full time for awhile.
