just curious but what is the material they use to make the roof anyone knows want to buy a emergency repair kits just in case

The chances are very high your roof is typically EPDM rubber and there are plenty of RV roof repair substances (usually a white liquid rubber) available at RV stores. I have used Dicor, others have used Eternabond branded products.
The time I used the Dicor stuff I replaced a static roof vent with a vent that had a fan. The roof material was in fine shape, but I had to remove the existing goopy seal and then the multitude of screws holding down the old vent. After scraping as much of the old goop off, I installed the new vent with some of this sealant, then screwed it all down then added the new goopy Dicor stuff for a pretty good seal. I was confident there would be no leaks. This was on a prior rig.
I have read that this goopy stuff was acceptable for repairing rips and tears on an EPDM roof. If in doubt what to use ask the person behind the counter - they are usually quite knowledgeable on what works under what conditions.

If you want something to repair a tear in your EPDM rubber roof Dicor and Eternabond make kits for that for touching up areas with a sealant that "goopy stuff' is Dicor lap sealant. It is very good,sticks like crazy and remains flexible. http://www.rvplus.com/dicor-company-...n=rv_shopzilla
I prefer the self leveling,it spreads right out

Heck, just do what we did and cover your roof with flat solar panels. I'll bet they ain't gona leak.  Off to stand in the corner again.

Let me know if I can help. I made every expensive mistake in the book before I got ours working perfect. I was telling the DW, they better not start making 3' to 5' long flat panels as I've got about 6 places up there that I could mount them.
