Slight shimmy in 344RET?

I am developing a slight shimmy in our 344RET around 90 MPH. Is anyone else experiencing this?

You are probably approaching the sound barrier.

I just had to see if anyone would comment. We live in California, and 55 to 60 here. They do not mess around...

I would venture to say that at that speed, the air conditioners are causing turbulence which leads you to feel the shimmy. If you simply add one of those over the truck cab wind deflectors, you will be fine!

I think Bingo hit it. also you may be getting a little bounce,so if you put a rear wing at a 22.524 attack angle it should help hold the rears from losing traction!!

Too much air pressure. Drop 2 lbs per tire, you can probably run at 100MPH plus.

X2 on the rear wing. Another needed option not offered by Keystone. Or as Larry says, it could be a loose nut.

My kinda guy. A guy got caught here on I81 doing 90 in a safety zone. His fine over was $5000. Then he said he didn't like us much and wasn't coming back. Please come back we need some more of your money. A word to the wise, on I81 at exit 137 to about 143 in Va the speed limit is 60 and the fines start at $250.

That shimmy your describing is in fact what happens when you start drafting at that speed, better known as turbulence. Now if you and Bingo get together and start drafting maybe you guys can figure out the proper distance to tame that turbulence. Its a fine art but if you do it correctly it will go away "One way or another" LOL
