Just placed our order for a Big Sky

Jo-Anna and I just returned from the local Montana dealer where we placed our order for a Big Sky 340RLQ!!!!!!! Delivery is targeted for late March, by which time we hope that Montana has come out with more info on the color schemes for the Big Sky so we know which one to order (our order currently reads "TBD" under the Color block).

Boy it's going to be hard to wait for the next two months to pass!!!!! But we should have our rig in plenty of time to make it to the NE Rally in May.

Congrats Dave and Jo-Anna I know you have been planning, looking, and interrogating everybody for a long time. Late March is not very far away. You'll make it just fine.

Congradulations!!! Keep us posted and let us know how you like it. So many nice additions on the Big Sky including the latches on the sliding closet doors.

Congratulations, David and Jo-Anna!
However, I disagree with rrheik.
The 8 weeks I had to wait after ordering my new Montana seemed like a looooooong time.

LOL HA HA HA
Interogating? Did you say Interogating?
The dealer asked me if David was always so "analytical" about everything........I call him "detail oriented".

We are very excited - lots of planning going on here. (I still want to know about the colors.

Congrats David & Jo-Anna! I know you both must be excited and the wait is going to seem like years. Don't worry, that new Big Sky will be here before you know it!

All the "homework"(read interrogating) pays off. I would have to say that if we were ordering now it would be the Big Sky instead of the 3400.We ordered at about this time last year and did not get delivery till the first week of May..

David and Jo-Anna, we are E X C I T E D. Maybe you should just ask for a nice HOT PINK or LEMON YELLOW and not worry about it. I am sure you will get a chance to see the colors before it is built. I will see if I can get some video of the Twilight Meadow and email them to you early next week.

Again, congrats...

Actually, the word for David has too many letters. The "analytical" is too long, all you need are the first four letters!

As the DW says, "takes one to know one."

How exciting. When do they think you will get/have to make a decision on your colors? I know how anxious you must be to finally be "on your way". Have fun and remember, you can always start "collecting" all the STUFF you are going to need in it. Sue C

Bert--That is one of the four letter "A" words that I decided a long time ago NOT to use. Instead I refer to David as the "Detail Man", but I did like the idea of using "analytical" instead -- but now YOU have changed my mind. LOL!!!!!!!!!

SueC2--we'll have to make the decision on colors no later than 2-3 weeks from now. We hope to have a chance to see a Golden Vista Big Sky at our local dealer's in a couple of weeks. And we're looking forward to seeing pics of the Aspen Forest color scheme from Judyuk's pictures of the Big Sky that has arrived in Tacoma. Also we were told by our local dealer that Montana is still not settled on the Twilight Meadow color scheme. DON'T THESE MEN AT MONTANA UNDERSTAND THAT WE WOMEN NEED TO KNOW JUST WHAT THE COLOR SCHEMES LOOK LIKE??

Steve and Steves--of course we would love to give everyone at the NE Rally a tour of our Big Sky. And in return we will be quizzing everyone for advice on what improvement projects we should be looking at and/or how to carry out projects we already have in mind.

Steve--wanted to thank you for unintentionally helping persuade us to add the dual pane windows to our order for the Big Sky. We have been torn about whether or not to get them and had decided not to get them if we got a Montana 3400 because the extra weight cut down on the cargo carrying capacity of the 3400. But since the Big Sky has extra capacity, once we saw a recent post of yours saying you wish you had gotten the dual pane windows--if Steve thinks that's something to get, that's good enough for us!!!!
