Sue,

Would you have pics of your living room? I've got the itch to do the same thing!!

Carol,

"If" I do anything, it will be a new Big Sky. At the moment I will go with the 3400RL floorplan again. Unless they have a totally new floorplan for the Big Sky.

How about Friday. I have a house full of company coming Thursday and need every minute to get ready. This will be the last holidays (TG and Christmas) we will be in a house (hopefully) and a chance to use the extensive china collection left to us by my Great-Grandmother, Grandmother, Father, Mother. This collection has a lot of weird dishes (whipped cream bowl, mustard jar, maynoiase bowl, cranberry bowl, lemon plate, syrup pitcher, grapefruit dish, jelly jar, etc.) and my daughters and I are going to try to use every dish we can. I'll take pictures of the setup for travel and the one when parked on Friday and post for you. BTW Steve said they only do this in summer, we do it year around with a deflector for the furnace vent. You could also close off that furnace vent. Do you know that is why the piece comes out of the bottom shelf on the end table? To let the heat through. We've met several people that didn't know that.
Happy trails...........................

Since Sue can't get to it for a few days I don't think she'll mind if I post a couple of pictures of our summer configuration. Sue, our sofabed is too close to the floor for a deflector to work for us, unfortunately. And when it gets into single digits around here we'll want all vents working!

Steve,

Nice looking layout. Obviously you replaced the chairs and sofa. What did you do with the second recliner? or do you just have the one?

Sue,

You taught me something. I didn't know that the end table was designed for the furnace vent. I have been cursing it every time I put it on the bed. I guess I will appreciate it when we are using the furnace.

Our Dealer saw the new Big sky at a Dealers RV show and said they had just put the graphics on at the show..Wonder which one it was... We were at first excited about the return of the Big Sky, (but not as excited as Montana Sky) then thought ..we have the 3400 so the Big Sky can not be any bigger it can only be heaver and plusher and by our dealer accounts it is both. Large Fridge, Electric rear Jacks and think he said electric awning.. After we recoved from the initial rush we decided to go for a (I hope ) new diesel truck next year and stay with the 3400...

Rich, now you've got my attention with your comment about the bigger refrig. I hope it's a side by side.

Judy,
I am not sure if I am ever in the know. I just know alot of people who think they know... LOL!

Are you talking about the Freightliner M2 Sportchassis or Sport Hauler MDT?? If so, I can give you dealership phone numbers that have them in stock ready for you to pick up.

Last I heard, orders for the Big Sky can be placed as of December 18, 2006. (not confirmed yet) The Big Sky is supposed to make it's first public debut at the Tampa RV show in Jan. Was told the 3400RL will be the 1st floor plan to come out in the new Big Sky. The 3475RL is supposed to be back and will also be in the Big Sky line up.

Broome101,
According to Charlie Wade, the answer is no. Said it was too much money; I myself (and Dave included) would have loved and paid for the option.
Said to be heavier, better suspension, nicer cabinets, more real wood, etc. and at least a 10,000 upgrade. We were told they weren't sure what the name would be yet...I hope they keep Big Sky.
