Water Draining onto Power Cord Outlet

Today is the first time it rained hard onto our Montana since we bought it. I noticed that the water draining down the left rear of the unit runs directly onto the power cord outlet. Does this pose a potential problem of short circuiting the unit?

It hasn't posed a problem for our '03 2955RL that we bought new and have towed over 40,000 miles in all weather and have been hooked up in all weather.

Ours hasn't been a problem either, although we have only had it less than a year. I added the gutter extensions to the ends and it carries the water out another couple of inches away from the plug connection. Many have done the same thing by adding clothes pins to the ends of the gutters and it works about the same. Helps keep those nasty black streaks from marking up the side of the trailer.
