Took the old one out, didn't replace it with another. A couple of big guys and worked carefully out the door. Our year and model allowed it to just barely fit. Some lifting, grunting and cussing was involved.

The one in our previous 2008 3400RL broke down into 2 pieces. My son and I took the pieces out the main door...no problem. Replaced it with a very nice all oak futon that made a comfortable queen size bed. The sofa/bed in the 2008 was TERRIBLE for sitting and sleeping. Our present one is actually pretty comfortable.

I've taken ours out & put it back. It breaks down into three pieces that aren't that heavy, but are really awkward.
