Is there a problem?????
Saw one of those 5er tow dollys a few days ago behind a 1/2 ton and pulling a large 5er. Guess he figured since the truck payload rating was not enough for the large 5er the dolly made it ok.

Guys, look close... it's not as bad as we think. The fiver sits on a hitch dolly and the hitch dolly is bumper towed by the vehicle. That's better, ain't it? And it's all good since the ground is flat.

Art, that hitch dolly alone is probably the maximum weight that car will pull.

That looks like The Safety Hitch. A good web site on this dolly. I think it's a bit expensive. I ran into a guy at The Tampa RV show this weekend that had one and he loved it.
