Must be a sign of the times

of all the electronic gadgets we have now. My truck has five 12 vdc outlets, one 120 vac outlet, and a USB port.
.
And heavy drinkers?? Eight cupholders for a seating for 5!

WOW! We are so jealous! We are in a 2002 and we don't have any USB, we only have 2 12vdc, and not a single 120vac! As for the cup holders we only have 6 and most of them are useless because they don't hold the mega size cups! What is even worse is that I bet you have a way to play MP3s! We have to listen to archaic FM radio or CDs! Time to get a new truck! :-)

My Dodge has a button for the exhaust brakes which is the best thing about it. Oh ... Wait and it's paided for, which is nice feature also because I am kinda frugal. I don't like to have any bills going into retirement but these new trucks are kinda nice aren't they....

Paid for is great. I was until a weak moment last summer.
.
It does play mp3s, even my music library direct from my iPhone. But with Sirius radio I don't even use that. Love my classic country music and Willies Roadhouse give me that full time.
.
And with the built in GPS I don't even use the external GPS any more. I only use one of the 12 vdc plugs and that is for the TPMS.
.
One thing I really do like is the hands free phone. Phone rings, caller ID pops up on the dash display, push a button on the steering wheel, and answer. Much better (and safer) than fumbling to get my phone off my belt clip.

Okay now you are just downright bragging Bill! Sirius and Bluetooth?!
I have all of that in my van but unfortunately my van won't pull big Bertha! Have fun with your new toys. Paid for does have its benefits too but a girl can dream can't she?!

Vehicles used to be rated by HP and cubic inches...now it's the number of cup holders.

Just messing with ya Bill... Our dodge has 2ea 12 volt outlets which come in handy. I do have Bluetooth, Sirius and the built in Gps. The Gps that is built in does not work as well as I would like it to, in fact I would consider it about worthless. I think you will enjoy this truck for many years to come and I also am a little jealous.

My truck has 5 12v outlets, 1 usb port and 2 120v outlets with a rating of 4,000 watts - and it's a 2006.

Of course I added all that stuff myself, same as the in-dash GPS that will play DVD's!

This inexpensive item will allow you to insert a USB drive or SD card with you MP3's on it and play it through you FM radio wirelessly. You can even use a mini-plug to connect an MP3 player.

So, no more excuses.

Yup, ours is paid for also and, like Tom, what it didn't have I added. Now just try and get out of the cab in an emergency without getting hung up in the wires

What is this Blue Tooth stuff?? Are y'all hillbillies?? See a dentist for those teeth!!!
As for cup holders, I think I have something like 10-12. Two in each front door, 2 in the center console, 2 in the rear console, and I think just one in each rear door - maybe more.
You guys should get a Chevy!!!

So Tom does that mean that Chevy drivers drink more than Ford and Dodge drivers? You have 12 cup holders for a truck that holds 5 people...That is more than two drinks per person if I counted my toes correctly!

Well we have 2 hands, so that would mean 2 drinks each!! And of course you need a spare in case one of the others runs out!!
