Another BFG tire problem?????

My neighbor calls me over this morning to look at his truck tires on his 3500. He just got back towing his 5er to La. and back and when he cleaned it he found the tires on the front are separating. One has a large slice of rubber out of the side wall like it just peeled off. It don't appear he hit anything, they are just peeling like a banana. They are BFG's 17 inch so not the ones in the recall. But has anybody else had this or heard of this kind of problem with the BFG's.

That's too bad. I used to like that brand.

Me too, I got them on my truck and Chrysler 300, now that worries me. Never ever had a problem with them. Looking at his tires it's like, Wow!! The ones on his truck are a mess and still have lots of tread on them. Just I never heard of anyone having a problem with them.

Sounds to me like they need to expand their recall.
