Good luck with it, pbahlin. What additive are you using? I'm not using an additive other than if I notice the idle is not as smooth as it was I'll dump in some injector cleaner. But that's not very often.

Today we were out exploring a little and we hit a stretch of interstate for 14 miles. I reset the mpg as we got onto the interstate, then set the cruise at 70 mph. As we exited 14 miles later the mpg read 22.8 mpg. I've found the computer to be within 1/10 mpg when I tested it. We had some uphills and downhills (near Kerrville, TX) and I'm not sure but we may have had some overall elevation loss improving the mpg a little. Based on experience with this truck I would have expected it to be about 21 mpg for that stretch, maybe 20 at worst, if it were level all the way. The truck turned 54,000 miles while we were out today.

When I traded my 04 Hemi for my 04 Cummins it had 35,000 miles on it, and I got 10 towing and 12 around town. It now has 66,000 on it and I am getting 12 towing and 14 in town I know I could get better if I took off my Toyo MT's and went back to street tires.
