Dexter on line sale

Dexter axle has a great on line sale for their E-Z equalizer and wet bolt kits. My 2005 Mountaineer has the old cheapies. I bought the kit for $149.67 plus 12.95 shipping. Can get installed for under $200.00

Jack, your 3400 should already have the Mor-ryde equalizer. You may have to get your wet bolt kit from Mor-ryde to be compatable. I went with Dexter because my 2005 Mountaineer came with old metal equalizer and thin shackles. I'm sure someone will be along that's much more knowagable than me.

You need to make sure you have the "Z" bracket made by Mor/ryde and then the wet bolt set by Dexter. The "Z" brackets will be about $50. more. Since you have the Mor/ryde suspension I recommend buying the complete set from Mor/ryde.
There are many good posts on the Wet bolts and shackles on the forum. I suggest you search and read them.
EXNAVYDIVER did a great summary on installing.

It was found that a reamer is needed to open the bronze bushing for proper function.
Good luck.

I didn't need the reamer for mine but it would be a good idea to have one on hand just in case.
