Help with bathtub enclosure leaking
We have caulked around or tub and enclosure twice now and it is still leaking. Does anyone have any ideas???? It mostly leaks in the corner. Very frustrating, since it has been caulked twice now. Any help would be appreciated....thanks

The leak problem I had with the shower was those screws with the neopreme washers holding down the door threshold. They were over tightened and flattened out.
I removed them and shot in some silicone and reinstalled the screws with the washers and things have been fine. When they leaked the water would run to places making me think the shower pan was leaking.

It may not be the shower enclosure that is leaking. Sometimes the fittings at the faucett leak inside the wall and run down to the floor making one think it is the enclosure that is leaking. An easy way to check is when the dripping stops through the floor of the shower take a five gallon bucket and fill it several times from the shower hose. Be sure none of the water splashes out of the bucket into the shower enclosure. Remove the bucket and dump it outside. If the drip reappears in the basement the problem is probably inside the wall. Let us know what you find.

Ours also had a leak there and it was as jimcol said, loose connections at the faucet, under the tub. Ours has an access panel. Remove four screws and you can reach the connections to check for tightness. If yours has that access panel it might be worth checking the connections. Good luck and let us know what you find.
Oh, another place we had a leak was around the drain. Ours had no support under that part of the tub. A little spray in foam to fill the area solved that problem. That and tightening the drain fitting. The tub floor would flex and allow water to seep around the drain into the cavity below the tub.
