What is this on the side of this Montana?

Guess the did away with them on the newer models . Our 2021 295RL doesn’t have that . Porch light is a little amber light above door .

I have them on both sides of mine. I never use them as they are useless since they point straight out, hence only annoy the neighbor. If they were angled downward, they might provide some useful purpose.

I don't think i've ever used the spot light
