Moab to Colorado Springs

Anyone made this route? Did you go I-70 through Denver or Hwy 50/115? Has anyone out there stayed at Spanish Trail RV Park & Campground? Also, any recommendations for a campground in Colorado Springs?

Lots of questions, thanks in advance.

Cheyenne Mountain State Park in Colorado Springs. One of our favorites. Only downside is you can hear the bugle from Fort Carson.

We took I70 to UT128 and spent two nights in the overflow section of the Big Bend Campground just north of Moab.

The drive along the river is absolutely spectacular!!!

The only campground in Colorado Springs we have ever used was at the Air Force Academy. If you're military I highly recommend it.

Thanks, trying to make reservations beyond their booking window.
