Woodall's or Trailer Life 2006 Directories....

If you had to buy one or the other but not both which one would it be???

Woodall's 2006 Campground Directory @ 11.95

Good Sam's Trailer Life 2006 Directory @ 12.45

Good Sam if I was to buy because I'm use to it and also because you can get information on line and don't really, really need a hard copy anymore.
Happy trails...................

We just bought Trailer Life since we got the half price deal from Good Sam's. Last year we had Woodall's. Do they send the CD with the book (Trailer Life)?

Sue, I had to check twice to see if that was you. Nice new picture, right?

In October I ordered a 2006 Trailer Life CG Directory. It has never arrived so I called them yesterday and the answer I got was they have not received the books from the printer as of yet, but would be shipped before the end of the year.

I get them all, and then I give the last years books to the Kids. they dont seem to care if its a year old, all they are interrested in is where is a place to camp.
But I do like Good Sam because I have a membership on line, and it is I hope, up dated monthly.

Judy,
Yes new picture. They finally got our cement poured and we were hooked up to put Monty away so he can be our guest house for the holidays. It is in front of our house. As soon as we get to go camping I'll do a better one at a CG. Merry Christmas.
Happy trails................

Charlie,

From the sounds of it, our new directory will be chasing us all the way to the Rio Grande if they don't get it in the mail NEXT week! SHOOT!

We have used both, kind of like Good Sam but based on the three weeks of cold weather we've had here in the Denver area we have to live through all you folks heading south. Let me know how warm you all are, and wave as you pass through Castle Rock heading south!

We tried Woodall's one year and threw it away. Our choice is Wheeler's and Passport. But to each their own.

We use the Good Sam and the MOC forum. No Judy the disc doesn't come with the book. I think you have to order that separately. We have the Good Sam Visa and get the $10 coupons. We save one of these to use on our order and it is inexpensive that way.

Thanks for the info, Myrna, but that's the wrong answer. I wanted the CD, too.

Judy they changed the TL CD last year. Now it is more expensive and suppose to be a mapping program but it is really bad. I missed having just the CG info on CD and have written to them about it. But this year it is the same and no separate CD with just CG info.
Happy trails..................

I used both for years but for the past few have bought only the Trailer Life guide. Each has some parks not in the other but overall I liked the TL guide better. Just my opinion. We also are escappee and passport america members so use those guides first for the CG savings. We then use TL if we want more info about the PA or SKP park or don't see a PA or SKP park near where we're going.

Looks like it's gonna be Trailer Life.
We've had Trailer Life but Lorraine was thinking of maybe Goodall's.
I personally use this 'puter more than any printed hard copy. In the past we used the books when we were on the road but I now keep the 'puter set up in the cab with us and with the AirCard I can be online even as we travel down the road. Lorraine can be looking on the net for that next campground coming up just down the road. BUT just in case we can't get a signal the book would come in very handy.

We use the Woodall's. Easy to decipher and up to date. Found our home down here in Florida through it.

We use them both, as well as MS Streets & Trips. I have found that each directory does not have every park.

My Trailer Life came yesterday. Woodalls should be in bt New Years. I like both, as it was mentioned earlier, that there is some campgrounds mentioned in one, that is not in other. I also like to compare ratings to see if both agree on campground.
