INTERMITTENT SLIDE OPERATION

When we closed the slides yesterday, the motor stopped several times. After waiting a few seconds, the slides eventually closed. I checked all my ground connections and everything seemed ok. I understand that this may be a circuit breaker problem. My question is this: Can someone tell me where the breaker is located. Should I increase the amperage of the breaker? Some guys say that this will stop the problem. I do lubricate my slides on a regular basis so therefore I am sure that this has nothing to do with this problem. If anyone has pictures on the installation of the new breaker, I sure would appreciate seeing them. Thanks for the info.

Paintpro99, I'm not being sarcastic, but I think you should read the thread entitled "Slides" just above yours. I think it will answer your questions, if not, ask again.

This is a common issue as of late, just do a search. Ours is doing it too and is on the list of warranty items for the dealer to fix.

I can't tell you which breaker, but our dealership did replace our breaker for the slides. Our breaker panel is located in our bathroom above the toilet.

I don't think that the breakers are in the same order on every 3400RL. Good luck with your fix.

Our dealer just adjusted the slides and replaced the breaker. We will check out how long this works in a few weeks. We had the same problem with the breaker cutting in and stopping the slides from closing or opening during our 4 month Alaska trip. Everything always worked--you just had to wait it out for the breaker to cool down. We sure hope it is corrected.

This is the way I set my fuses as per the PDF File supplied by Gale for the slide fuses.

Pardon my ignorance, but are the two post on each of the blocks connected together? According to the picture, I ASSUME that they are.

If the ground wire is screwed inside the plastic box the pump is in you are not getting enough of a gound. There is a star washer that is to help you get the ground. this was addressed up at the fall rally.
