Thanks to all for the congrats and wishes. Lstierw, congrats to you, too! I read this thread very quickly so hope I didn't miss others.

CanDo, we very much enjoyed meeting and visiting with you two in Virginia the other evening and seeing Awaywego and Bob and Sherri again! It was a fun evening.

We were due to arrive in Independence Sunday afternoon (tomorrow). However, as we approached our destination today, east of St. Louis, around 1:30 p.m. we called and canceled our reservation and kept on trucking. Despite some very heavy thunderstorms slowed us for awhile we pulled in to Independence about 7:30 this evening. 585 miles is a very long day for us but I'm glad we did it. It's too late to go see the kids and grandkids tonight but tomorrow....

Congratulations!! Glad to hear all is well. We are waiting for our eleventh. She tried to come during our furlough, but didn't make it.

She is an absolute doll. Keep posting pictures - they grow so fast. She is really bright eyed also for such a young baby.

What a beautiful baby! She looks very healthy too! It's easy to see why you drove so many miles in a day. Now, how are you going to manage to leave??!!

Miss Maggie is definitely a keeper! With her start in this world, she's certainly going to keep everyone, especially grandparents (!) on their toes! She was definitely worth the rush to get there! Best wishes to mom, dad, and, of course, Steve and Vicki.
