No a/c code

My Norcold 1200 is giving a NO A/C code. The magnet trick is not working on the outside ( can't remember if that was for another code or not ) Is there a internal fuse on the fridge and if so how do I find it. Heading to the beach tomorrow and it sure would be nice not to have to live out of a cooler while there.

Dennis,

Here is the manual. http://manuals.chudov.com/RV/Norcold...ing-Manual.pdf

It should still work on gas and DC if you can't sort it out.

The manual opens fine for me. Be sure you are using the Acrobat Reader as the browser apps sometimes appear screwed up.

There are two fuses under the small square located on the lower far left side at the bottom as you look at it from outside. It may well be that the safety sensor will not allow it to reset due to an open or shorted sensor that monitors the temperature of the heating stack. I can't remember the resistance of that sensor to guide you. While you are back there, look for any yellow residue on the back right side. If you see any, do not attempt a power up as big flames can result when the coolant mixture decides to leak out.

up date

Went and removed the cover to the electrical box outside and sure enough there was a blown 5 A fuse replaced and so far so good.

Thanks for the replies.
Happy Camping.
