Hello from Ohio

Hello,
I'm a first time RV owner, from NW Ohio, with the purchase of a used 2001 Montana fifth wheel. My wife and I decided we needed a place to stay when we are on our property in Kentucky.
Plan is not to travel with it but a place to get away to when we escape Ohio.
This has needed quite a bit of repair, but since March when we purchased it, we have made a lot of progress.
I hope to be helpful and to receive the advice with thanksgiving!
Bryce

Welcome to the MOC family! Good luck with your projects. Wish we were up in the mountains of Kentucky right now. To say it is hot down here in Texas is an understatement.

It is beautiful through this area. We are not too far from Cumberland Falls.
Picture should be in the attachment. Not sure how to get it in the thread

Welcome to the MOC. Montana units were really well built in the early days.

Welcome. Escaping that state to the south is always a great idea.

I don't necessarily disagree with you, but going north wasn't an option either

I was told that by my father. I do believe it is pretty well built, just hasn't been maintained all that well.

Hi and welcome. We have a 2001 3255rl and we love it! Good luck with it. We have remodeled the inside and feel the construction is better than the new fivers. Sure there are some issues from time to time, but nothing we haven't been able to fix. Have fun!
