A/C vents leaking water
Hello all! New to the forum. Hopefully, someone can help me with a problem. I have a 2017-3160RL. When the A/C is on, the return vent in the main cabin leaks water as well as the supply vent in the bedroom. When you take the vents off and stick your fingers inside, there is a lot of water. We took the coach in to a well known RV dealer and they couldn’t reproduce the problem. Don’t know what to do. Please help!

With the blizzard ac, rain water can get in thru the two piece cover. Extra holes in the blizzard pan itself need to be properly plugged. Drain holes in the pan of any model ac can clog up and trap water. Water can seep in thru the ac roof gasket if crimped, damaged, or not tightened down properly.

A/C vents leaking water
It’s not raining when the leaks start.

Then the unplugged holes are still probably the problem, but in addition your drains for the condensate water are probably plugged so the water you are getting is supposed to be run out onto the roof and from there onto the ground.

It could be the unit is not properly installed.
There are cases where the supply and return do not line up with holes in the roof.
Unit has to be reset, properly sealing all penetrations.
Replace 14x14 gasket.
Check all the threads on here about leaking AC. There is one that has a Heartland Dometic Service bulliten attachment..
PS welcome to the forum it’s a great source of information.

water
took 3 visits but finally got water from return air vents FIXED. take covers off roof air and grill and filter off return ducts. Use your phone to view up the duct and you should see all the way thru. Mine looked OK with just a look at the ends of the duct. But almost completely collapsed in the middle ( VERY LITTLE ) air getting thru. needed to insert piece of 1 inch PVC from each end and the duct opened all the way to the middle. What was happening was the unit was trying to suck air thru the duct and could NOT get enough. In doing so it was sucking air thru the drip pan drain hole not allowing the unit to drain, It sucked enough water to enter the return ducts.

Never heard of water draw, however the PVC fix is common knowledge on the forum. Glad your problem was solved.
