Maiden Voyage in our 2005 Montana 3670RL

Thank you to all of you kind folks who responded to my previous questions. I just love this site! We finally made the move and bought the 05 Montana fifth wheel 3670RL, and took it on a short 3-day trip to a rally in Tampa. We absolutely love it...it is like taking a small condo along with us, and we were very fortunate to find one that is virtually brand-new. One thing my husband did do to it upon returning yesterday is buy a second 13,500 Carrier air conditioner to put in the bedroom, as the one was just not able to cool the unit sufficiently in this extreme Florida heat. He installed it himself today, with the help of our son-in-law...it works great! Saved a lot on doing the installation himself too.
I will keep checking in with this site, and adding comments and questions from time to time...you are all such nice folks...Nell

Great choice of Montana's, we love ours. We will be taking off in a few days in ours for a fishing trip. We just love the floor plan and wish that when we are ready for a new one that they would offer it again.

Glad to hear you made the choice to purchase the 3670. As said before great floor plan. Should have never done away with it. We have been living in ours for a year now and all is working out well. Many memories to come.

Glad you enjoy your new unit. The second air will really make it nice on those hot days. Hope you have many more happy times in it.

Congratulations on the 3670RL. We hope you enjoy yours as much as we enjoy ours.

If you put a lot of miles on it, you may want to consider some sort of suspension upgrade. Read the threads on TrailAir, Mor-ryde, and Dexter's offerings. (This is assuming that it has the then stock, plastic bushing type suspension).

Enjoy you new coach. We will be keeping ours for a while also. When you get settled in and find you need more storage area for pots and pans etc, just ask and a few of us will come to the rescue.
