Stabilizer System

Well, Mike says I have to write this (from a woman's perspective). Have you done just about everything to keep your 5th wheel from bouncing around when you're set up??? and no success??? We did--we tried wheel chocks, king-pin tri-pod, extra jacks, blocks etc., and it still jiggled when one of us walked across the floor or up the stairs. NOW, we have the answer...the SteadyFast Stabilizer System. It is just like being set down on a cement pad--no movement at all...It is WONDERFUL!!! (It took Mike all of 2 hours to install it-very simple)
We took some pictures (maybe not the greatest) for others to look at, and you can go to the website: steadyfast.com for more info and ordering. --Ronni

Looks like another variation of JT Stabilizers ... if it works similar to the JT's you'll never regret the purchase. I like the put it on and use it feature ... no more dragging the tripod in and out of the truck bed.

I guess you could say it's a variation of the JT's but from what I understand the full set of JT's consists of about 6 stabilizer bars whereas this one requires installation of only 3. Made in USA, military type rust resistant finish. Also, not as expensive. I like that. mike

I was a little sceptical about the benefit of stabilizers - but after trying out my JTs, it is amazing how much difference there is. There really is a lot of play in the front landing gear as well as from the tires. It would seem any of these cross stabilizing products address the issue.

Great job Ronni, and thanks for introducing another product/option for stabilization.

We just ordered the SteadyFast stabilizer. We saw it on Mike and Ronni's rig in Buellton. What I liked about it was that we can leave our adjustable landing gear pad in place and that it works great!
Thanks for the great pictures--I hope our installations goes as well!!

Hi ronnilu
Just looked at your post on the stabilizers. Tried the websight. Couldn't get a price or a dealer no. Could you post or email these. Thanks Myrna

Myrna-justbeginning: the website is www.steadyfast.com. Phone (661)377-2147. I just was on it and right below the orange printing is the price - $369.95. If you click on the area to purchase, it brings up another page showing payment options & the catalog. If you need more specific info PM me and we can get you in touch with the company owner, Paul Hanscom. He is very helpful and willing to ensure his customers are satisfied. mike

Just got some great news on the SteadyFast website: free shipping for a limited time, so the price of $369.95 is all there is except Californians must pay sales tax. As I said originally, our set of stabilizers really prevents movement of any kind, and all of our friends that have them really think they are awesome. We highly recommend them.--Ronni
